Our friend and mentor Joe Krzewinski passed away early this morning. Joe was able to squeeze a few more fishing trips out of life after miraculously recovering from a massive brain aneurysm in 2007 that brought about his retirement from retreading. I was at his house in Modesto a few weeks ago visiting, and he had some advice. Joe didn’t give advice all the time. I listened up. He felt at this point, that the best thing to do is do the things you want to do when you can do them. Don’t put stuff off, because you may not be able to do the things you want to do now later.
